"It's great to be back home with MDC." That's what one client said during our July seminar in Kansas City. The clients who attended would tell you how powerful, stimulating and motivating it was …. The excitement and enthusiasm were electric.
It has come to our attention that there are former MDC clients who are unaware MDC is alive and well! Reformed into MDC Group, LLC in the fall of 2005, it is headed by Bobbie Harris, who worked directly with Rolla and Ila for 25 years as General Manager. Ila Calton acts as consultant to Bobbie, and to the Group. Roger Calton still makes sure the group is apprised of legal issues which may affect their practice. Their presence and participation in the meeting is always welcomed.
Wisdom of the Ages
Rolla and/or Gordon are with us at each meeting through selections from our extensive library of audio and video lectures. The material presented in these informational, inspirational and motivational lectures is as relevant today as when they were recorded. You will recall Rolla often taught using stories to make a point. His "Saturday stories" were, and still are, a delight for everyone who hears them. Yes, his influence lives on. Recently the group was discussing the dozens of "Rolla-isms" we have incorporated into our daily lives. You know - "Rolla always said." No doubt you find you're using them too. We would love to hear your favorites.
MDC Group has exclusive use of the MDC materials and lectures. No other individual or group has been given permission to use these materials, nor are they a continuation of, or associated with MDC.
Seminars
Our six or seven seminars a year are held in various fun and educational settings within the U.S. And once a year we take a leisure-learn trip. Yes, we still have the "travel bug." Our exotic destinations over the past few years: 2006 - Mediterranean Cruise Rome to Barcelona with Ports of Call in Italy, Monaco, France and Spain; 2007 - Canada, Victoria, British Columbia and Whale Watching; 2008 - Venice to Rome Cruise with Ports of Call in Italy, Croatia, Greece, and Sicily; 2009 - Mexico, Los Cabos; and 2010 - South Africa Safari.
Client Successes
MDC continues to be about helping each other and sharing successes. The size of our group lends itself perfectly to the roundtable and workshop formats. Rolla always said, "They can have their recession. I don't intend to participate." The MDC Group is not participating. Practices are soaring, more patients are being served, and the levels of Awards are amazing! Being with positive, like-minded doctors helps our clients achieve their goals. Plus the camaraderie, emotional and practice support is like none other.
